US market: Top 14 Reasons Why People Buy New Cars
The American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) ordered a survey why people buy new cars.
Top 3 reasons, with a share together of 77,6 %, are:
1. Old car had high mileage
2. Tired of the old car, I wanted something new
3. Old car was always in for repairs
The vehicle they are looking for is a car (57,9%), followed by a SUV (26,4%).
Volkswagen is no. 2 on the list of the brands (for cars) potential buyers consider.
