VW is going to build the Pope's car

According to an exclusive article at "Auto Motor und Sport" VW is going to build a high security car for the new Pope, the so-called papa-mobil.
It will be based on a VW Touareg, but with just 2 doors! You can also see a drawn picture how it possibly will look like.
This car is just going to be build for the Pope's visit in Cologne during August 2005. There is no news about a continued, official use of this car in future. But according to rumors, already several German car manufacturers are working on an official offer for a new papa-mobil. Currently he is driving a special version of a Mercedes ML450.
