DTM: Audi driver Ekström defends lead

Mattias Ekström, who has really a great season so far, defended his lead in Germany's car race series DTM by finishing 2nd at Motopark Oschersleben in front of 88.000 spectators.
"I’m satisfied with my result. If you want to move forward from the fifth position on the grid to second place, you mustn’t make a single mistake, and the pit stops have to be perfect – we successfully met both of these challenges today. Although I was able to catch up with Gary (Paffett) on the final laps, it was too late for an attack. It’s a nice feeling to be able to go to Audi’s home race at Nuremberg as the leader of the standings."
Next race will be in Nuremberg, around 70 km north of Ingolstadt and therefore recognized as Audi's home race. Usually you can expect that a lot of Audi's employees are coming to there and also usually they make a big noise when an Audi is passing their corner.
It's really a big event for them and absolutely worth a visit!
