Audi: Going after chauffeur fleets in the UK

Audi
According to UK's "Fleet NewsNet" Audi is going after the chauffeur fleets.
CHAUFFEUR fleets are being targeted in a new initiative launched by Audi. The firm’s new Prestige Chauffeur Programme claims it will be offering fleet and owner-drivers competitive contract hire rates and servicing deals on outright purchases for Fleet News Award-winning A8s and A6s.

Spurred on by the huge success of its VIP A8 fleet, which has been used at A-list events throughout the country to transport celebrities, Audi believes it now has the product to crack the chauffeur fleet market, which accounts for as many as 10,000 vehicles.

At present Mercedes-Benz dominates the market with its S-class.

In particular, it will be offering deals on its new A8 3.0 TDI long wheelbase version, with contract hire deals through Audi Finance.

The programme, to be launched at the Limousine and Chauffeur Show this weekend, will be trialed within the M25, giving participating dealers the chance to join the scheme.
