Audi Q7: Review by CNet

CNet has a short review of the Audi Q7 and a video.
Although late to the SUV game, Audi makes quite a showing with its Q7. It's no boulder crawler, but the 2006 Q7 takes advantage of Audi's renowned Quattro four-wheel-drive system, an adjustable air suspension, and various stability programs--including descent control--to give it off-road legitimacy. The 4.2-liter, V-8 FSI engine produces an adequate 350 horsepower and, coupled with the six-speed Tiptronic transmission, moves the Q7 from 0 to 62mph in 7.4 seconds. Audi's multimedia interface (MMI) gives the driver and passengers good access to the car's environment, entertainment, and navigation systems. Unfortunately, while the Q7 includes superior technologies, its bland exterior, combined with waning interest in SUVs, keeps it from being a showstopper.
