Audi RS4: Shell-type seat with comfort function

Recaro RS4
Recaro presents the Audi RS4 seat, another innovation in light weight construction seating in the automobile industry.
With the new lightweight construction shell for the Audi RS 4, seat manufacturer Recaro is once again leading the way in the premium and luxury segment with regard to design and function. The South German company combines lightweight construction from the motor sport industry with the comfort characteristics from the field of ergonomics Sporty design and intuitive functional aesthetics dominate the interior of the Audi RS 4. This is reflected first and foremost in the standard seat from Recaro – the perfect combination of design, lightweight construction and functionality.

Recaro is the first seat manufacturer to succeed in combining lightweight construction required in the motor sports industry with comfort characteristics. The RS4 seat therefore represents the first “racing shells” to impress with their high level of comfort, including features such as lumbar supports, lateral backrest settings and seat heating. The electronically adjustable RS4 shell-type seat with individually adjustable lateral back rests adapts excellently to the body shape of the driver.

“With our longstanding experience in the motor sport industry and our knowledge gained from the ergonomic Recaro seat program, our company has expertise at its disposal, which it was able to put to use in the development of the RS4 seat”, explains Michael Ewert, head of marketing and distribution.

The seat manufacturer from south Germany has shown that sporty drivers do not have to compromise on comfort.
