Bugatti Veyron: Did you know?

Autocar has an interesting entry in their blog (3rd September) about the Bugatti Veyron and its acceleration power.
Now that you've read all about the amazing new Bugatti Veyron, I presume you're pretty blown away by the idea of 0-62mph in 2.5sec and a 253mph top speed.
But here's an even more interesting factoid for you: it acclerates to 180mph just over a minute quicker than an Aston DB9.
Yes you did read that correctly, over a minute quicker. Is this the maddest road car ever?
