VW Golf GTI: Arrival in Borneo!

The Borneo Bulletin Weekend is happy to announce that the VW Golf GTI finally came back to Borneo!
The Volkswagen (VW) Golf GTI is back in town. The launching of the latest GTI version of the cult car was held at Maju Motors yesterday. The car has generated a wave of interest from Volkswagen owners and followers with the new incarnation snapped up and half of the consignment already spoken for.
Golf's latest generation GTI hatch is once again at the forefront of a class of cars that it had established back in 1976 when the first GTI was released and set the stage for peerless driving fun. The car is endowed a 2.0 FSI Turbo engine that is capable of stunning performance, with acceleration figures of 6.9 seconds from 0-100Km/h, this car is true to form as it sits lower than the normal Golf and also has a stiffer ride, with hardly any alternatives available for this class of car in Brunei Darussalam.
One feature that fans of previous versions of the GTI will notice straight off the bat is the new design brief, the Golf has a new nose and grille compared to the prior four generations and is available in trademark colours of Red, White and Black, complete with GTI trimmings that differentiate it from the other Golf cars.
