Audi Canada: Announces more robust organization and new head

Audi
Fourtitude got the news that Audi Canada introduced a new head, Diego Ramos, and announced a more robust organisation.
Audi Canada announced today an expanded organization located in its Ajax offices to better meet the needs of Canadian Audi customers and dealers as well as to reach out to more prospective buyers.

Diego Ramos, Head of Audi Canada, announced his new structure and the main reason behind it. "Canada is a very important market for AUDI AG; the very demanding Canadian customers and the excellent Audi dealers deserve premium attention and treatment" said Ramos. "That is why we have moved the headquarters of Audi Canada to Ajax, Ontario and put a dedicated team in place to focus on Canada." At the same time Audi Canada is reinforcing the sales, marketing, public relations and aftersales disciplines and expanding headcount in all areas with special attention in the service area. Ramos explains "This is in line with our clear strategy to have a stronger focus in the Canadian market with better capacity to react quickly and precisely to our customer needs."

Ramos comes to lead the Audi brand in Canada from AUDI AG in Ingolstadt, Germany where he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Audi Latin America for the last two years. He has a mechanical engineering degree from Barcelona University and has 20 years experience with the VW group. Ramos, 46, is a Spaniard who was born and raised in France and is married with three children.

Represented in the Ajax offices are now the areas of sales for new and certified pre-owned cars, communications including marketing and public relations, aftersales, product development and pricing, distribution as well as dealer development. All of these areas are fully dedicated to Canada. Aftersales includes responsibility for Canadian customer relations, warranty, technical training, and parts sales and marketing.

"With this structure, clearly Audi is moving forward towards our goal of offering the most progressive, premium luxury cars on the market," said Ramos. "With our newest and most comprehensive product line-up ever including the new A3 and new A6 Avant, a new organization and focus on Canada with motivated and dedicated dealers, Audi should be on the consideration set of anyone desiring a premium German car."

Audi Canada is headquartered in Ajax, Ontario and markets a range of performance-oriented German premium automobiles: the A3, A4, A6, A8, and TT. For more information about Audi products, corporate news and Audi's 100+ year history, visit www.audicanada.ca
