Audi: Silver Euro Effie for "Tomorrow has arrived today" campaign

I, Robot
Audi won a silver Euro Effie in the category "Automotive" for the "tomorrow has arrived today" campaign which was an integrated brand campaign backed by the Hollywood movie "I, Robot".
More than 40 countries reported in radio or TV about the movie car and the brand Audi. The Euro Effie is one of the most important European ad awards.
The EACA EURO EFFIES®, the pan-European advertising effectiveness awards for campaigns, which have achieved proven success in 2 or more European markets, recognise and reward not just traditional advertising, but campaigns from any discipline, judged purely on the basis of effectiveness. The Euro Effies programme supports and promotes the role of advertising as an effective and efficient use of marketing resources. Winners will be announced on the website on September 30th, 2005 and the Gold winners will be invited to receive their awards at the EACA Annual Dinner in September 2005, where a Grand Prix will also be awarded for the best overall European campaign.

Introduced in 1996 to reward advertising that builds brands across borders, the EURO EFFIES were the first pan-European advertising awards to be judged on the basis of effectiveness. The EFFIE award, introduced in 1968 by the New York American Marketing Association and now celebrated in 21 countries worldwide, is the symbol of proven advertising effectiveness and a tribute to the client & agency partnership that strives to create it.
