Audi TT Shooting Brake: Audi goes space-age

"Motoring" says Audi goes space-age with the Audi TT Shooting Brake.
Want to know what an Audi of the future will look like? The Audi Shooting Brake Concept destined for the Tokyo Motor Show should give you a pretty good idea.
Inspired by sources as varied as the A4 German Touring Car, the space-age RS Q coupé from the film ‘I, Robot’ and the recently launched RS 4 quattro, the Shooting Brake Concept blends hatchback and coupé characteristics. It’s a sports car that doesn’t neglect passenger space and practicality.
The futuristic interior combines a body-coloured ‘Electric White’ pearl effect finish for the centre console, door handles and air vent surrounds with a high-tech synthetic material for the instrument panel, roof and door trims.
The Audi Shooting Brake Concept is the latest in a long line of Audi design studies, several of which have successfully made the transition into full production. Whether the new Shooting Brake Concept takes the same route as the A8 ASF study, the TTS (TT), the Al2 (A2) and the allroad quattro concept remains to be seen.
