Audi TT Shooting Brake: Star of the Tokyo Motor Show

"Auto Motor und Sport" is reporting that Audi will show the Audi TT Shooting Brake concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The car is 4.18 m long, 1.84 m wide and 1.35 high.
The concept is based on the next generation of the Audi TT which will be available autumn 2006 (coupé, convertible 6 months later) and is a mixture of a sports car and a station wagon.
The Audi TT Shooting Brake is powered by a V6 3.2 liter engine with 250 bhp and 6-gear manual transmission and of course quattro drive.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Audi magnetic ride: The driver can choose between two driving settings, sporty or comfortable
- ceramic brakes
- 19 inch alloy rim wheels
- new touchscreen to adjust the basic settings in the car
- new navigation system: the system will tell you the right gear and speed before approaching a curve
The production of the Audi TT Shooting Brake will be decided after the Tokyo Motor Show, but with Dr. Winterkorn almost every concept has been turned into a production so far. If so, expect the Audi TT Shooting Brake on the streets in 2008.
