Lamborghini Miura: Mama Miura!

Left Lane News has a rendering of Lamborghini’s next-generation 700hp Miura.

Just when you thought you’d see all the latest automotive spy shots and computer renderings out there, we bring you the new Lamborghini Miura (shown right). This latest image comes from Automobile Magazine, which has an article on the top-secret 700-horsepower Italian supercar. The computer rendering can be found on page 21 of the November 2005 issue. The car is said to be based on the Audi Le Mans, with upgraded version of Lamborghini’s 6.2-liter V-12 engine. The article notes that the while the engineers would love to see this beast be rear-wheel-drive only, they will more likely share a version of Quattro all-wheel drive. As previously reported, the Miura may come as early as next year, and will take on the Ferrari Enzo.
