VW Passat: 4MOTION-equipped Passat models available now

Autoblog has the information that 4MOTION-equipped VW Passat models are now available.

Volkswagen announced Tuesday that new 4MOTION-equipped Passat models are now available. The permanent four-wheel drive models are available now with a 2.0 liter direct injection gas engine or a 2.0 liter turbodiesel. 4MOTION is available in both sedan and estate models.

The much-anticipated 3.2 liter V6 4MOTION Passat, shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show, will be available in November. The direct injection engine delivers 250 hp, a 0-100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds, and a top speed of 246 km/h for the Passat sedan. The V6 4MOTION Passats also come with the DSG double-clutch gearbox.
