Audi Q7: Already 3000 customer orders!

We already reported about Audi's expected new record sales this year.
Ralph Weyler, AUDI AG Board Member for Marketing and Sales, recently unveiled that Audi expects to sell more than 820,000 vehicles this year.
But the most interesting thing he said was about the Audi Q7:

“We expect to sell more than 820,000 vehicles this year. The Audi Q7 will be launched on European markets from mid-March 2006. Although the Audi Q7 hasn’t yet reached our dealers’ showrooms, we have already received around 3,000 orders from customers, four months before the scheduled launch date. This far exceeds our expectations.”

That's great news! But it's also a great car.
