Volkswagen: To build VW Pointer in Russia

VW Pointer
"Aktuell" has more details about Volkswagen's plans in Russia.
It's said that Volkswagen's plant will be placed in Stupino, Moscow area. VW want to produce 80.000 to 150.000 cars of the VW Pointer, an entry-level car especially build for the Russian market.
Estimated price for the VW Pointer is 10.000 Euro and therefore comparable to a new Lada Kalina.
