VW Scooter: Is this the "unusual concept" for LA motor show?

We reported some days ago that a VW spokesman revealed that VW is going to show an unusual concept at the LA motor show.
Jalopnik searched deep in the WWW and found a 3-wheeled VW concept back from 1987. Is this the concept we can expect at LA motor show?
