Volkswagen: Plant in Russia confirmed!

Volkswagen now confirmed their plans to build a factory in Russia, we reported earlier about it.
Mr. Pischetsrieder himself announced that at the Detroit Motor Show yesterday.

The factory will be build in Stupino, southern Moscow. Start of construction will be still in 2006!

It's a necessary step for VW as they want to increase their market share of currently 2 or 3 percent to 10 percent.
