VW GX3: Three wheels, two seats, serious performance

VW GX3
We found another report about the VW GX3, VW's 3-wheeled concept from the LA auto show.
Aimed specifically at the US market, it's light, fast and environmentally friendly – conceptually much closer to a motorcycle than a conventional car.

The GX3 was inspired, its designers say, by the minimalist design language expressed in contemporary GP motorcycles and F1 racing cars.

Legally the GX3 is a motorcycle in the United States, which confers on it a lot of advantages, notably that it may use the car-pool lane on freeways even with only one occupant.

The GX3 in no way denies that it is a motorcycle, but rather plays it up as a unique design advantage.
