VW GX3: VW's unusual concept shown at LA auto show!

We told you that VW is going to show an unusual concept at the LA auto show which is not a real car, but a vehicle.
Now the curtain is lifted and we are ... surprised.

Crossover between sports car and motorcycle
It only takes 5.7 seconds to go from 0-62.5 mph (100 km/h) and the fuel consumption in the city is estimated to be 46 mpg (5.2 l/100 km).
GX3 was conceived for the U.S. by the Moonraker team and VW’s Design Center in California.
Three wheels, two seats, and off you go in the carpool lane.
• Wolfsburg / Los Angeles, January 2006. In a world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Volkswagen presents the GX3 – a completely new type of motorcycle. The GX3 was conceived by the Moonraker team and VW’s Design Center in California, exclusively with the U.S. in mind, to bring an exciting idea to a fully functioning concept.
