VW: Update on Japanese VW bus replica scene

In one of our first posts here at The German Car Blog we reported about the Japanese VW bus replica scene.
We now picked up the topic again, because I saw some of them during my last trip to Japan and they really look awesome although not all of them are real VW buses!
Sometimes, maybe most of the times, they are based on Japanese cars and are heavily modified to get the look and feel of an original VW.
They are great to watch, this is true devotion and passion! Give them a visit.

Of course the site is only in Japanese, but the pictures are awesome.




But they are not only doing VW buses, also VW New Beetles....




And even a BMW 1-series, but this is off-topic here....
