Audi: Big winner again at "Best Cars" award!

AMS Best Cars 2006
Audi continues to be the straightedge at the "Best Cars 2006" reader awards of German car magazine "Auto Motor und Sport"!
With 3 victories and 2 second places Audi is the undefeated darling of German drivers. What a start in 2006 with such a triumphal performance of the Audi brand!

The "Best Cars" award is truly one of the most important car awards in Germany, because it's handled by the biggest and most influential car magazine and it's a readers award which makes it even more important to have a good score there. Almost 100.000 readers have participated in the voting for their most favorite car in the different categories.

The three category winners from Audi are: the Audi A3, the Audi A6 and the Audi A8.
Yes, you heard right. Besides the not very surprising wins of the Audi A3 and the Audi A6, the Audi A8 did it again, leaving the new Mercedes S class far behind.

Another surprise is the already scored second place of the Audi Q7, leaving well-established models like the BMW X5 far behind. This result is even more notable when you consider that the Audi Q7 is not officially available and can't be seen a lot outside of Ingolstadt.

And now think again that some of the hottest models for 2006 are not even available: the Audi S6, the Audi S8, the Audi R8...
