VW: Going 100-percent flex-fuel in Brazil!

It comes to no suprise that VW is going to switch their complete model line-up in Brazil to flex-fuel when you know that flex-fuel cars lead car sales.
Volkswagen is brooming its entire lineup of gasoline-only powered vehicles in Brazil by the end of the year. The automaker will instead gravitate towards flex-fuel drivetrains that on ethanol, gasoline, or a mix thereof.
VW was the first automaker to launch a flexible-fuel powertrain back in 2003, and by 2005, the company's Brazilian ops were churning out about 300,000 such units per year-- nearly 75-percent of its production in the country.
The brand holds a 35.5-percent flex-fuel market share in Brazil, with a lineup of ten such models.
