Audi RS4: Featuring a "sport button"

Audi RS4
The American version of the Audi RS4 is going to feature a "sport button" controlling throttle response and bolstering.
If you've been following the RS 4, then you may know that the European version has a sport button on the optional flat-bottomed sport steering wheel that enables the driver to put the car in Sport Mode - controlling things like throttle response and bolstering on the also-optional and also-European-only sport seats.

There is Sport functionality on the North American RS 4 as well, including all but the seat bolster controllability. To enable the mode, one needs only push this new 'S' labeled button we found in the RS 4 on display in the Audi stand at the New York Auto Show.

Though that may be the only function, we bet non-RS 4 owners will find other uses as the button will easily also fit other B6 and B7 A4 and S4 models. Trick applications I can think of off-hand include trying to control higher boost chips on turbocharged models, powering auxiliary subwoofers for an audio system, etc.
