Audi: Three models named winners in "Internet Auto Award 2006"

Internet Auto Award
Audi is the big winner at this year's "Internet Auto Award" by winning 3 of 8 categories with the Audi A3, Audi A4 and Audi A6.
3 seems to be a lucky number for Audi at this award, because last year Audi also won with 3 models.
An overwhelming success for Audi: Audi models picked up a total of three titles in the “Internet Auto Award”, Europe’s biggest Internet poll in the automotive industry. The Audi A6, Audi A4 and Audi A3 each triumphed in their respective categories. The runners-up spot for the A8 in the upper midsize and luxury class behind the A6 rounded off an outstanding result for the Audi brand.

The Audi A3 came out clearly on top in the compact class. The A4 was the winner of the midsize class. In the “upper midsize and luxury class” category the Audi A8 was narrowly beaten by the Audi A6.

More than 500,000 votes were submitted in the poll conducted by AutoScout24, Europe’s biggest online car market. This makes the “Internet Auto Award” the biggest European Internet user poll for the car industry. The models most often selected by AutoScout24 users in the new car configurator qualify for the award. Users were able to choose from 160 current models.

Markus Hinz, Managing Director of AutoScout24 Deutschland GmbH, presented the awards to Jörg Felske, Head of Sales Germany at AUDI AG, at the Auto Mobil International (AMI) Leipzig 2006 fair.
