Bentley Continental GTC: New York Auto Show video!

In New York City, Bentley chairman Dr. Fraz-Josef Paefgen pulled the wraps off of the third member of its Continental GT family: the 2006 Bentley Continental GTC. A drop-top version of the GT coupe, the four-seat, two-door convertible becomes the second convertible in the Bentley lineup, and follows the successful launches of the GT coupe and the Flying Spur sedan.
Bentley's design director Dirk van Braeckel said Bentley was unwilling to compromise elegant style for the sake of a drop top, and "wanted to ensure that the Continental GTC looked just as beautiful with the roof up as it does when it's down."
Rated at 560 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, the GTC's twin-turbo 6.0-liter, 12-cylinder engine is mated to a six-speed Tiptronic transmission. All-wheel drive and an advanced air suspension come standard.
Like the Bentley Arnage-based Azure four-seater convertible, the GTC has an automated electrohydraulic soft fabric roof and heated rear glass.
Bentley enthusiasts will have to wait until this fall to slide into the GTC's leather-lined cabin. Base price will be $189,990.
