Audi India: Opens dealership in Bangalore

India
Seems like the IT offshoring is now paying off, at least for some guys.
Germany based automotive giants Audi has opened its first dealership in South India in Bangalore on Saturday. The luxury carmaker already has its dealerships located in the metro cities of Delhi and Mumbai.

The company is aiming at selling 150 cars from this new dealership based in Bangalore in the first year operations. Looking at the conditions of roads in the city, they just might be able to sell their luxury cars in enough numbers.

Audi is expecting a lot from the Chinese market as they expand their operations in India. Weyler said: “Audi is a premium brand; our positioning is upscale for the affluent market that we target. We’ve just started in India and are still understanding the culture and our target audience.”

Sanjay Malhotra, business head of Jubilant Motors, the dealership of Audi in South added his views: “We will provide both sales and after sales facilities that adhere to Audi’s stringent, worldwide quality standards.”

In the coming months, the company would be opening its dealerships in other cities including Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin, and Coimbatore.

Audi is selling various models including Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A8 Quattro, and Audi A8 W12 in the Indian market.
