Audi R8: Hand-build supersportscar!

Audi invested 28 million Euro into a true manufactory in Neckarsulm to hand-build the Audi R8, Audi's upcoming supersportscar.

In addition 250 highly skilled experts have been picked to build the compared to other models small series of several thousand a year.

The Audi R8 will be painted together with the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Audi A8. Unique selling points for the Audi R8 are the light-weight chassis, quattro drive and the special design.

The Audi R8 is expected for summer 2007.
