Lamborghini Gallardo: Saddle up for 500-horsepower test gallop

The Lamborghini Gallardo is now also available in Boston.

Lamborghini Boston is the nation’s first single-point Lamborghini sales and service showroom. It officially opens tonight with a party in the new building on 215 Andover St. in Peabody. Some 200 people have been invited.

“Anyone who likes performance, be it sailing or speed boats, will feel awfully good just sitting in it,” said Warren Waugh Jr., managing partner of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, who has been selling Lamborghinis from a makeshift adjacent showroom for the past year.

“It gets better when you’re on the road,” he said.

Lamborghini is an Italian legend. But since 1998 it has been a division of Audi.
The brand’s two models, Gallardo and Murcielago benefit from the best of both worlds, Italian beauty and German engineering.
