Porsche Cayman: New Engine Revealed!

Regular readers would have noticed that in our review of the Cayman S, we said there would be a new engine out soon.
Porsche have announced today that the new engine will be the 2.7 litre engine from the Boxster. It will produce 245BHP and 0-100km will take just 5.4 seconds with an automatic transmission. The new engine will also mean there will be changes to the exterior, these include black brake calipers, 17" Alloys, and a single trapezoidal exhaust pipe, opposed to the twin exhausts found on the Cayman S.
The interior also has been revised, now there is no longer any "white" and have been toned down to black. The aluminium inlays have also been reduced.

The Cayman goes on sale in Europe on the 29th July, with prices starting at 46,647 Euros. Thats a saving of almost 12,000 Euros!
