Audi: Commercial-free thrills with The Closer

Audi, The Closer
Audi sponsored a special commercial-free premiere of The Closer on TNT recently, to kick off a new season of the critically acclaimed, cult crime drama. Stars include Audi vehicles plus Kyra Sedgwick as the head of the LAPD's homicide division, whose highly unorthodox approach to crime solving gets to the heart of the truth. Over 7 million viewers tuned in for the premiere, so TNT's top-rated show looks to gain even more viewers in season number two.

On June 12 at 9 p.m., EST, TNT's top-rated original series The Closer opened its second season with a special commercial-free premiere sponsored by Audi, featuring an introduction from Audi USA Executive Vice President Johan de Nysschen. Starring Kyra Sedgwick as the head of the LAPD's homicide division, the critically-acclaimed series follows her unorthodox approach to solving difficult crimes as she negotiates both personal and professional challenges in a highly-charged atmosphere.

Last year, The Closer scored high with viewers and critics, and was the top-rated original series of the summer season. Over 7 million viewers tuned in for the premiere, exceeding 2005's record-breaking numbers.
