VW Jetta: Long-term test!

VW Jetta
The guys over at "Inside Line" have an update on their long-term test with the VW Jetta.
The question we hoped to solve by including the 2005 Volkswagen Jetta in our long-term fleet was this: Did that special quality in previous generations of Jettas carry forward into this redesigned, larger and very different model? Another way to put it was: Is there still German-car feel in this German car?

A year and 15,000 miles later, as you will read, we have a variety of answers.

Almost immediately we noticed a trend in the commentary about the Jetta. Most paragraphs contained liberal use of the word "nice" to describe the driving dynamics and the interior features. Drivers appreciated the Jetta's overall appeal, yet no one appears to be blown away by any one distinctive feature.
