VW Touareg: Particulate filter diesel for the US!

VW Touareg
The VW Touareg will be the first off-road vehicle in the U.S. to implement diesel particulate filter technology!
According to VW, the turbodiesel Touareg (shown above), which debuted in the U.S. at this year's Pikes Peak hillclimb, produces 310 hp and 30 percent greater fuel efficiency than comparable gasoline-fueled vehicles.

TDIs comprise 12 percent of all Volkswagens sold in the U.S., and their share of sales is increasing.
