Audi: 10th Audi Forum will open in Tokyo

Audi
Audi Japan is opening the 10th Audi Forum in one of the hippest and coolest places in Tokyo.
Audi Japan KK (President: Walter Hanek, Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) will open “Audi Forum Tokyo” in Omotesando, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo this autumn.

“Audi Forum” is an information center where visitors can experience everything about the Audi brand, including Audi’s latest models, through a variety of special exhibitions and events. The biggest complex “Audi Forum Ingolstadt” opened at Audi AG in December 2002.

Now Audi has 9 Audi Forums, 4 in Germany and one in London, Madrid, Stockholm and Beijing as well as Audi Forum New York that will be re-opened in October 2006.

“Audi Forum Tokyo”, which will be the 10th Audi Forum in the world, is Audi Japan’s first corporate showroom with a floor space of 1,200㎡.
The facility, which can accommodate up to 15 vehicles, will be used to display our latest models as well as special vehicles like vintage cars and racing vehicles and to hold exclusive events. It will also serve as a brand information center to communicate Audi Japan’s programs and campaigns and will be engaged in sales operations.

Audi’s long-term goal is to increase global sales from 830,000 units today to 1.4 million in 2015. As part of the strategy, Audi Japan will contribute to this goal by continuously widening its customer base, especially focusing on the metropolitan areas Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.

The opening of “Audi Forum Tokyo” in Omotesando, where flagship shops of prestigious international brands concentrate, shows its determination to aggressively pursue this strategy. The recognition of the Audi brand as being progressive and premium is expected to further improve.

The official opening date will be announced separately through a press release as soon as it is fixed.
