Audi R8: Cabrio in the works?

An Audi R8 cabrio in 2008? Dream or reality? Only time will tell, but nice photoshop anyway.

Instead of the Lambo’s V-10, the R8 will use a brand-new 4.2-liter FSI V-8 with 430 bhp at the beginning of production, at a price of around $100,000. The 2-seat coupe will hit the U.S. in the summer of 2007 while an open-top, Porsche Carrera-GT-like model will follow in 2008. For 2009, Audi will install a version of the Gallardo’s V-10, punched to 5.2 liters and delivering 500 bhp.
