Porsche 911 Turbo: Really, really fast!

Porsche 911 Turbo 9FF
Last week we heard about TechArt's 911 Turbo. Well now there's the 9FF edition!
Porsche performance specialist 9ff Fahrzeugtechnik isn't shy about its ability to turn fast 911s into really fast 911s. And now the new Turbo has fallen under the company's spell.

9ff offers three stages of tune. Stage I starts with a sport exhaust system and recalibrated engine electronics, nudging output to 535 horsepower while coaxing a top speed of 202 mph. Acceleration from zero to 60 mph takes a mere 3.7 seconds.

Stainless steel headers and sport cams are part of Stage II, which gooses output a bit further, to 560 hp and 550 pound-feet of torque. A tenth of a second is shaved off the 0-60-mph sprint.

The über-Carrera is Stage III, which adds larger turbochargers and intercooler, and pumps up output to 640 hp and torque to just under 600 lb-ft. The 0-60-mph run takes 3.5 seconds, with terminal velocity approaching 213 mph.

Of course, 9ff provides the usual chassis, driveline and aero enhancements.
