Audi Q7: Hybrid could arrive in 2008

Audi Q7
Audi sources say that they could launch the Audi Q7 hybrid in 2008 if the market improves. To be honest, we are not huge fans of hybrids as you might know. It looks more like hype than real benefit, also for the environment. But in the meantime, we love to drive our diesels!
The problem lies in the fact that, commonly, only people in their mid- to late-50s earning over $100,000 annually actually buy hybrids. According to Lehna, “it’s by no means the young, dynamic consumers that buy a hybrid vehicle but rather an intellectual upper class.”
