Audi: Best October in company's history for Audi Japan

Audi
Audi Japan is reporting the best October in company's history showing positive momentum with progressive new models.
Despite an overall weak import market, Audi Japan KK has announced a new record sales in October. With 1,215 registrations Audi has increased sales by 49% vs. last year, resulting in a market share of 7.9% in the pure import market.

The main reason for the strong result was the full availability of new products like the all new Audi TT, the A6 allroad quattro as well as the high performance models S8, S6 and RS4.

Walter Hanek, President of Audi Japan commented: “We are very happy that our long-awaited performance models are highly appreciated by Japanese customers.” He continued: “We expect that these progressive new models will boost our sales over the coming months and strengthen our position in the premium market”.
