Audi Q7: High-tech marvels redefined

Audi Q7
The Miami Herald checked the Audi Q7 about high-tech, and of course they found plenty.
Audi is no stranger to high-tech innovation, with its quattro permanent four-wheel-drive marking its 25th anniversary this year. But this new Q7, Audi's 2007 entry into the luxury crossover arena, is breaking some new ground.

Consider these high-tech wonders:

• A side-assist warning system that keeps an eye on the blind spot for you and helps out in lane changing (especially beneficial with this SUV's large pillars).

• A rear-view camera parking system that eyeballs a prospective parking place and provides an on-screen guide to steer you into it.

• Adaptive cruise control that detects too-close traffic and will not only slow down the vehicle but bring it to a complete stop if necessary
