VW: 10 questions to Wolfgang Bernhard

Wolfgang Bernhard
Very interesting interview with Mr. Bernhard, still head of VW. Read it carefully and you might assume what will happen in the future.

Rumors are spreading in Germany, but we leave them uncommented until we can announce something. But besides that, read about the product plans of VW! 19 (!!!) new models are still to come. WOW!

TCC: There's been a lot of speculation about your future at Volkswagen, and following the ouster of your boss, VW AG Chairman Bernd Pischetsrieder, many observers thought, to be totally blunt, that you'd be looking for new work by now.

BERNHARD: I have no reason to speculate about my position. If you guys (in the media) didn't have reason to speculate, you'd invent one. [After a long pause] These decisions are made by the Supervisory Board, so you have to talk to them. I'm just an interested bystander.

TCC: Let's turn to something else. What's happening on the product side?

BERNHARD: It starts with the Tiguan, a small SUV, we're launching in Los Angeles , and there are 19 more new products to come.
