VW Golf GTI: 5-door version coming to the US

VW Golf GTI
It seems like that VW is considering to bring the 5-door version of the VW Golf GTI to the US, following the huge success of the 3-door GTI. Great news!
Volkswagen has told a US publication that starting with the 2007 model, Volkswagen will be offering the US a five-door GTI model.

The five-door Volkswagen GTI adds an additional 60 pounds and will cost $500 more than the three-door.
