VW New Beetle: Coming soon with 385 bhp

Rumors are spread that US tuner JRD is working on a beefed up version of the VW New Beetle with 385 bhp.

Two engine options will be available, the 2-litre FSI Turbo engine producing 250 hp and the R32 3.2-litre V6 with twin turbochargers producing 385 hp.

Options include a glass roof, folding spoiler and the gearbox from the Audi Quattro with four-wheel drive that gives optimum grip accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in five seconds.
