Audi R8: Comparison against the Lamborghini Gallardo

It was only a matter of time until TopGear would compare the Audi R8 against the Lamborghini Gallardo. Here it is! Great pics.

I can really feel the suspension working its magic beneath me - actually, it's one of those moments that goes into heart-stopping slow-mo' - and the expensive sounding 'graunch' simply never arrives. Its body control is just stunning, its combination of comfort and structural integrity masterful.

So there you have it: first encounter with Audi's spanking new supercar and I climb out saying, "Great suspension kinematics." But this is more than just an exercise in technical brilliance. Other things are fundamentally right too.
