Audi Clubsport quattro Speedster: Will it be the Audi TT S?

The Audi Clubsport quattro Speedster is rumored to extend the line-up of the Audi TT and might be the long-awaited Audi TT S.
The new two-seater takes its inspiration from the legendary Porsche 356 speedster, boasting a chopped-down windscreen and several detailed body modifications. The look is said to hint at the bold styling treatment reserved for a secret new TT-S model currently under development. The car is rumored for introduction in early 2008 as a rival to the Porsche Cayman S.
Audi has provided the dramatically styled TT Clubsport Quattro with a new 300-horsepower version of its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder TFSI engine. This is a 40-hp increase over the most powerful iteration of the engine currently found in the rapid Audi S3.
For the first time, a six-speed double-shift gearbox (DSG) and Haldex multiplate clutch is available on the four-cylinder version of the TT.
