VW Touareg 2: Revamped, retooled and refined

VW Touareg 2
Nice article here about the second version of the VW Touareg.
We've always preferred the Touareg to the Cayenne when it comes to both interior and exterior styling. That remains the case with the '08 model. Among the many changes, the Touareg2 gets the latest version of the Volkswagen "face," with its bright crossbar grille flowing into the bumper, wrapping headlights and larger front air intakes that more closely resemble the Porsche's.

The overall aerodynamics of the '08 Touareg have been improved, both visually and in terms of reduced wind drag. There's also a new, sporty rear spoiler that integrates much better into the body. Roof rails become standard. There are new, rear LED lamps. And for 2008, 19-inch wheels and tires become standard on the V-8 and V-10 versions, with optional 20-inch wheels becoming available early in the model-year.
