VW Beetle: Next generation will have rear-engine again!

VW Beetle
Wow! We found this great news that VW seems to work on a new New Beetle and this time it's going to back to the roots and feature a rear-engine. Fantastic news!
Volkswagen is to revive the Beetle - again, but this time, it is to go the whole way and make a new-generation rear-engined economy car.

Automobile magazine reports that this new entry-level, tiny four-seat Volkswagen is the brainchild of Ferdinand Piech, chairman of the Volkswagen board and grandson of original Beetle creator Ferdinand Porsche. It will have its engine mounted on top of the transaxle, driving the rear wheels, but a water-cooled radiator up front, in a variation from the classic Beetle theme.
