Porsche is patient and predictable when it comes to rolling out new versions of its 911 sports car. It's been over two years since the release of the first 997 and this fall we'll see the final installment of the series in the form of the 2008 Porsche 911 GT2.

Spotted testing in Germany over the winter, and more recently in Death Valley, California, the 911 GT2 will feature unique styling cues and the most powerful flat-6 engine in the Porsche lineup.
