Audi A5
Audi is enhancing the engine line-up for the Audi A5. Nice move!
Audi on Monday said it is adding two new engines to the A5: a 2.7 TDI and the 3.2 FSI. They join the 233-hp 3.0 TDI. The 2.7 TDI diesel delivers 190 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque between 1,400 and 3,250 rpm. The diesel hits the 62-mph mark in 7.6 seconds and has a top speed of 144 mph. Neither diesel will be offered in the U.S.-bound A5 as of this time.

The 3.2 FSI gas engine delivers 265 hp and delivers maximum torque of 243 lb-ft. It accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 6.6 seconds.

Bokich said the A5 will launch with a choice of a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Formal pricing has not been announced, but it is expected to be priced in the low $40,000s.
