VW: Started website in India

The website of VW in India just went live.
Volkswagen today announced the launch of its all new Indian website as a part of strengthening its Indian operations. The Volkswagen Group recently set up a new sales company called Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited in Mumbai to focus on the Indian market.

Mr. Andreas Prinz, Managing Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars at Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited, at the launch of the new website, said. “Volkswagen is looking at engaging across multiple customer touch points in India. The India website is a step in this direction to bring a strong customer focus to our Indian operation.”

The website contains a diverse range of product information customized to the Indian market across models such as the Passat and Touareg, among others. It will also provide other detailed information on Volkswagen’s India offerings and will be further enhanced in line with the planned expansion of Volkswagen in India.
