Audi A6 2.8 FSI: Now available in South Africa

Audi A6 2.8 FSI
The Audi A6 2.8 FSI has been introduced to South Africa. Great car and a nice engine.
The new 2.8-litre petrol engine fits into the range between the A6 3.2 FSI and the A6 2.4

It features FSI petrol direct injection and Audi's valvelift system, which apparently improves fuel consumption.

The engine develops 154 kW at 5 500 r/min and generates a constant torque of 280 Nm between 3 000 and 5 000 r/min.

Audi claims a fuel consumption figure of 8.7 litres per 100 km under standard conditions.

Against the clock, the new A6 2.8 FSI can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h at sea level in 7.9 seconds while its top speed is an impressive 238 km/h.
